Simon joined the company as a director in April 2006. Prior to this, having qualified as an English solicitor in 1987, he was a partner in two City-based corporate boutique law firms, first Rakisons and then Marriott Harrison. Throughout his career, Simon has specialised in advising family run companies and high net worth individuals in relation to a variety of strategic, company and commercial matters. He is also the director responsible for Hawksford International's investment funds and is a member of the IOD. In his spare time, Simon is a keen sportsman, especially enjoying golf, tennis and field sports. He sits on the committee of Jersey Race Club and is the chairman of the parents’ association at the school his children attend. He also enjoys fine food and wine.
